Mr. Chen who came to the U.S. from China in last May said that the Divine Performing Arts’ performance cheered him up greatly. He also said that the performance was very uplifting and that he had a close and familiar feeling about the show.
He said, “I heard from my friend that New York was going to have Divine Performing Arts’ show, so I came all the way from Boston. The Divine Performing Arts’ performance is magnificent. I have never seen any performance like this before. The overall performance was uplifting and exciting. [It’s a] performers’ performance—I don’t know how to put it in words. After watching the show I felt close, familiar and also excited.
Mr. Chen thought the Divine Performing Arts’ performance displayed five thousand years of traditional Chinese culture, from the beginning to current developments.
“I liked the drum dance very much,“ he said. ”I cannot express the kind of excitement. It was very grand and powerful. Those dance programs were very familiar and touching. I felt very excited. I have a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture after watching the show. The Divine Performing Arts show is also going to be showcased in Boston. I will introduce it to my friends and ask them to go see the show.”
Mr. Chen made a final comment, “Divine Performing Arts should perform in Mainland China.”
