Justin Bieber to Drop Second Book

Teen pop star Justin Bieber will release his second book this fall entitled, “Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started.” The über popular singer saw impressive success with his first book, “First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” selling over one million units in 25 languages.

Susan Katz, President and Publisher of HarperCollins Children’s Books said in a statement, “With all of his musical and on-screen successes, and his millions of fans on Twitter and Facebook, Justin is dominating the world of pop culture, and we are excited to be publishing the next chapter of his sensational career.”

Bieber stated, “Being able to share my story with my fans through these books is an absolute privilege. I can’t wait to show them more about my life on tour and in the studio in this next book.” “Just Getting Started” is slated to hit shelves in September.

Clothing Retailer Sees Boost With Book Sales

Celebrity favorite retailer Kitson has expanded its offerings from clothing and accessories to include books and has done so with much success. “It’s a huge add-on business,” company founder Fraser Ross told Publishers Weekly. “Clothing has become risky, but our book sales keep growing. The books at Kitson provide entertainment shopping for the whole family.” The store’s book sales topped $1.6 million last year and enjoyed a five-fold increase in sales this January compared to last, according to the trade publication.
