American Music Awards Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 2011 American Music Awards were announced in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Artists who will contend for online fan votes include Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, and Adele who leads the pack with four nominations.

The awards will be presented in the Nokia Theatre on Nov. 20, airing live at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. Katy Perry and Pitbull will perform.

Demi Moore Stars in Ann Taylor Holiday Ads

Clothing retailer Ann Taylor has announced that actress Demi Moore will be the face of their upcoming holiday campaign. The results of Moore’s photo shoot with photographer Norman Jean Roy will appear in December issue magazines.

Moore, who has posed for the brand before, was quoted in a statement as saying, “The energy and enthusiasm behind the evolution of this iconic brand is remarkable, and being a part of that has been a wonderful creative experience.”

Javier Bardem to Play Villain in Upcoming ‘Bond’ Film

Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem will play the next villain to contend with British secret agent 007 in the next year’s “James Bond” film, according to Reuters. The Spanish actor told ABC’s Nightline, “I’m very excited because my parents took me to watch the movies, and I saw all of them so to play that is going to be fun.”
