Keystone XL Canceled

Upon President Donald Trump’s entrance on the world stage, critics at home and abroad feared the worst about the Trump presidency. President Obama said leaders told him they were “rattled.” Many believed he would be an embarrassment.

One of President Trump’s staunchest critics was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. But evidently, the prime minister was as surprised as anyone when the man he allied himself with ideologically, new President Joe Biden, signed an executive order stopping the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

Did Biden even take the time to consult with Trudeau before he canceled this Canadian–American partnered project? Did Biden consider the jobs lost, the contracts broken?

The man who is considered the better example of a leader on the world stage didn’t look good in that action.

I guess hatred of Trump is more important than a relationship with our northern neighbor.

Biden’s presence on the world stage is just going to be that of a warm-up comic and the joke is on the United States.
