I found it quite interesting in the main section of your Aug. 6, 2020, edition that the governor of Minnesota passed a law that contradicted a previous law in his state. His executive order said everybody had to wear a mask in public. However, Minnesota Statue 609.735 makes it against the law to wear a mask in public.
On the next page, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio participated in painting the words “Black Lives Matter” on Fifth Avenue without getting a permit.
Note also the FBI Director James Comey, when explaining how a fellow agent was caught lying under oath, said it was just “lack of candor.”
If I broke any of the above laws, I would be held accountable. However, it seems if you are in a position of power in the United States of America, the laws don’t apply to you, if you have a good excuse.
