In her well-researched opinion [“A Mom’s Research: Why Are Many Elites Leftists?” in the May 5–11 edition], Jean Chen spotlights much of the corruption extant in American politics circa 2021, and historically, what was directly responsible for the plight of what remains of the American Republic—from the radical Woodrow Wilson “Progressive” era that foisted the bogus Federal Reserve act on sovereign American citizens; made individual income tax the law of the land; and destroyed states’ (legislatures’) rights by enacting direct elections of federal senators. Woodrow Wilson made no bones about his intense dislike of the U.S. Constitution.
And as Chen relates, “American” so-called “elites’‘ have been providing ongoing (generational) largesse (MUCH of it via rank-and-file U.S. TAXPAYERS) directly to communist/socialist/Bolshevik totalitarian regimes. For example, the FDR administration was infested with outright Soviet “players” such as Harry Hopkins, whom Franklin D. Roosevelt made “lend-lease czar’' as WWII erupted. Hopkins (darling of Joseph Stalin) actually took up residence IN the White House, where he slept and conducted the distribution of U.S. industry-produced war materials to U.S. “Allies”—including communist Russia. This while U.S. forces in the Pacific theatre were starved of (and dying) because of shortages of ALL war materials, while Hopkins saw to it that communist Russia was inundated with U.S.-made guns, ammo, tanks, trucks, planes, food, et al.
The so-called “elites” Chen calls out were and still are a tiny minority of the U.S. population (in 2021, just over 5,000 members—this in a nation of some 328 million). A so-called “NGO” (nongovernmental organization) whose members have literally infested EVERY agency, bureau, and department of the U.S. federal government since 1921 when it was founded goes by the oh-so-innocuous name of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
Hopefully, Jean Chen will research and zero in on the pernicious end-game of the CFR and expose it thoroughly in the pages of The Epoch Times.
