The flexible spines of felines allow them to squeeze their furry bodies into confined spaces, so it’s no surprise finding them curled up in drawers or shoe boxes. This mischievous kitten, however, landed herself in a precarious situation when she attempted to squeeze through the most unexpected of places!

It was an exciting day for Cookie, a playful 4-month-old kitten, when, while playing in the garage, she decided to attempt traversing through the hub of a car tire rim. Oblivious to the danger ahead, she squeezed her head through, and that was as far as she got, but to make matters worse, she couldn’t get out!

Cookie’s family tried every means they could think of to free her head from the rim, but it was no hope. Helpless, they brought Cookie (tire and all) to the Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown, Connecticut.

“Never a dull day at Pieper!” wrote the veterinary center on a Facebook post.

Thankfully, with the help of a few experts of the trade, the matter was quickly resolved there in the emergency room. Cookie was freed from her precarious predicament thanks to the staff at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center!

“She’s going to be just fine,” Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center wrote.

“Tired out” from her exciting day, Cookie got some much-needed shut-eye afterward. We can only wonder what adventures she'll get up to tomorrow!
