Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox, who sued alleging that a proposed Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) violates the New York state constitution, is vowing to appeal.

Critics of the bi-partisan ERA allege the amendment would impact parental rights and anti-discrimination laws.

In a bid to revive the Equal Rights Amendment, the House on Thursday approved a measure removing a 1982 deadline for state ratification.
