TV personality Whitney Rose, known for her role on Bravo’s popular reality show “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” has asked her fans to keep her daughter, Bobbie, in their prayers after the 14-year-old was admitted to the hospital over the weekend due to a health emergency.
“My beautiful community, please pray for my angel daughter, Bobbie Rose,” Rose, 38, wrote in a since-expired Instagram Story on Sunday evening.
“I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now.”
She said her daughter was transported via ambulance to the intensive care unit after suffering “severe asthma exacerbation.”
On Monday morning, Rose took to Instagram to extend her heartfelt thanks to her followers for their kindness and prayers.
“We feel your energy,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, we do not have any updates at this time. Please keep praying for our angel.”

Rose gave birth to her daughter, whom the television personality shares with her husband, sales executive Justin Rose, in April 2010. The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, also share an 11-year-old son named Brooks, and the reality star is a stepmother to her husband’s three sons—Austin, Christopher, and Trey—from his first marriage. On April 19, Rose penned a touching birthday tribute to her daughter on Instagram, calling Bobbie her “side kid and bestie for life.”
Rose is one of the original cast members of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” the first season of which premiered in November 2020.
Set in Utah’s capital, which also serves as the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, many of the show’s cast members are current or former members of the church.
During an interview with The Salt Lake Tribune, published in December 2020, shortly after the reality program’s debut, Rose discussed how being forthcoming about her religious upbringing during the show, which also stars her cousin, Heather Gay, has affected her life.
“Obviously, I speak very openly and freely about my experience being raised Mormon, how I met my husband and no longer being Mormon,” she said. “And I think that my Mormon family [members] just felt a little bit hesitant and suspicious about me being so open and honest about my journey because they don’t feel the same way I do about religion. Life. Everything.
“It’s been something that’s been hard to work through.”
Rose admitted that she was hesitant to join the series.
“I knew if I was going to do this, I was going to be real and authentic and share my real life,” she said. “And that’s terrifying, to put your family in the public eye.”
However, the reality star said she was happy with her decision to join the show.
“I thought a lot about—what does this mean for my children? What does this mean for my husband? But at the end of the day, I’m here for it,” she said. “And I’m so glad I made the choice to do it.”
