Dr Soumya Nair is a postdoctoral fellow and her research in exosomes and gestational diabetes mellitus have been pioneering in the field and recognized through peer-reviewed publications with over 900 citations. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms by which small extracellular vesicles mediate the pathophysiology of metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity with a focus on harnessing the biomarker and therapeutic potential of these vesicles.
