“I cannot comment on anything until there is an official confirmation from either of the two clubs,” Danchev told the Sun. The newspaper is so sure about the deal that it printed a photo with the 27-year old soccer player wearing a Manchester United t-shirt.
Berbo will earn a salary of £80,000 a week ($150,000). Tottenham has tried recently to persuade him re-sign his contract by promising £70,000 a week (87 000 Euro), but he refused with the motive that he wants to move on to a bigger club and desires to play in the Champions league regularly.
