“I don’t want to be a hero, I just want to give the Lord praise for everything,” Stuart Franklin said at a celebration for Trent’s return over the weekend, according to an ABC News 6 interview.

“I’m not anybody’s hero by any means. I’m a sinner saved by grace,” Roger Carpenter added.

Although the men declined formal interviews for what they planned do with the funds, they did say they will release their intentions soon.

In the interview, Dr. Chris Calendine, Carlie’s pediatrician, said: “They’re very humble gentlemen. This is well deserved. I don’t have a hesitation. I know nobody has a hesitation, none. No matter what they do with, don’t do with it. I’m excited she’s home.”

Calendine donated $10,000 to the reward fund just 3 days after learning of her disappearance.
