A woman has been charged after a video circulated on social media allegedly showing a female prison officer having sex with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, of Fulham, has been charged on Saturday with misconduct in public office, the Metropolitan Police confirmed in an email to The Epoch Times.
But the force declined to confirm whether she was the prison officer in the video.
The Met said it launched an investigation on Friday after officers were made aware of the video.
Ms. De Sousa Abreu will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the force added.
