The Surf City Wonderland ice skating rink is returning to Huntington Beach Nov. 18, transforming the pier into a holiday destination for the second year in a row.

The rink will be located in Pier Plaza for an ice-meets-sand experience to skate with a view of the ocean. It will be open from Nov. 18 to the 20 and then again from Nov. 25 to Dec. 21 at various times from mid-day to evening.

The rink will have live music and other holiday events that will be announced on the city’s social media.

“The City of Huntington Beach is always looking for opportunities to add fun, family-friendly programming to our existing roster of events and activities,” city spokeswoman Jennifer Carey told The Epoch Times.

Tickets are on sale now. Ice skating is $22 per skater, including skate rental. Socks and gloves are available for purchase for $5 each.

The Anaheim Ducks, local bar Pier Summit Ski Lodge, and Ice-America—which rents and sells portable ice-skating rinks—are sponsors.
