A Texan fishing enthusiast caught a large shark armed with just a fishing rod at a popular Gulf Coast beach on July 7.
Jason Jenkins reeled in a 300-pound bull shark about 6 p.m. local time at a Corpus Christi beach near the Bob Hall Pier, 160 miles southeast of San Antonio.
