Elderly Man Stabbed, Uses Same Knife to Stab Attacker in Northern California

A 33-year-old man ran into a big surprise when an elderly man whom he allegedly had stabbed used the same knife to stab him back on Sept. 16 in Napa County in Northern California, according to the county’s sheriff’s department.

An unnamed 61-year-old homeowner noticed Andrew Dixon on his property on Sunday morning in the 5200 block of Silverado Trail, according to authorities.

The elderly man confronted Mr. Dixon and was stabbed in the back. He then pulled the knife from his back and used it to stab Mr. Dixon, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Department.

According to authorities, they both survived.

Arrest logs show Mr. Dixon was arrested at 10 a.m. and is being held without bail.
