The current results suggest he will move on to the Nov. 5 general election to face Nathan Hochman, a former U.S. assistant attorney, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The incumbent will face No. 2 finisher Nathan Hochman, who garnered 17.7 percent support, in November.

The men were ages 20 and 15 when convicted of a fatal 2003 shooting. “This case is a tragedy of many proportions.” said DA George Gascón.

‘Yes, violent crime has dropped from last year to this year. But looking at Gascón’s overall record, it’s not very good,’ said one opponent.

They say the DA lied during an interview by claiming the union had raised dues to campaign against him.

Saying ‘George Gascón has got to go,’ the union gives its nod to two candidates, urging voters to pick ’the one who most aligns with your values.’

District Attorney George Gascón announced sentencing enhancements for the suspects in the violent crime.

Seventy percent of participants also identified smash-and-grab thefts, property crimes, and hate crimes as highly serious problems.
