WASHINGTON—One of the most well known women in journalism, ABC World News’s Diane Sawyer appeared at the National Press Club on March 22 as part of a conference program kickoff event, with prize-winning journalist, Marvin Kalb.
Kalb conducted an on-location interview for his own headline program, “The Kalb Report.”
The National Press Club in Washington, where the interview took place, was packed and overflowing with press club members, the public, and sponsoring organization George Washington Journalism students, hoping to glean insight from Sawyer’s life and career.
Also in attendance were delegates from 25 countries in Washington for the International Women Leaders News Conference.
