Already tired of all those tedious presidential interviews that never change and sound so canned you might as well call them Chef Boyardee?
So am I.
In an attempt to try something new—mixed with my own unfortunate compulsion to make a fool of myself—we have come up with something we call “The Presidential Roller Coaster: 2024.”
The style is not your usual sit-down but closer to what pretentious film students used to call cinéma verité.
It’s a casual, light-hearted approach to often serious subjects in dark times—part Woody Allen, part Walter Cronkite … two guys who have their critics, but you get the idea.
The deeper intent is to reveal the candidates as real people along with their policies. And have some fun while we do it.
First up is outsider (is he still that anymore?) candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
Others will follow.
Be there, as they say, or be square (or at least watch the reruns).
