Kyra Phillips and John Roberts, both CNN news anchors, are going to be the proud parents of twins, CNN reported on Thursday.
“Kyra and John are very happy and excited about the pending birth of their twins,” a representative told CNN.
Phillips will be due to have the twins next spring.
The two began dating in December 2008 and got engaged in April 2010.
Roberts, 53, is the anchor on the networks’ American Morning and Phillips, 42, is one of the anchors of CNN Newsroom.
“He definitely knows the way to my heart and that’s through golf,” Phillips said in the past, CNN noted. The two became engaged on a golf course.
