Actress and singer Amanda Thomson adored Shen Yun Performing Arts after seeing the classical Chinese dance and music company perform at the Living Arts Centre on Saturday afternoon. “I think it’s great; obviously the choreography is very technical, I’m not a dancer per say, but for the performance aspect, the facial expressions, it’s great,” Ms. Thomson said.
In the world of finance, return on investment is paramount, and for one executive at Citigroup, Shen Yun Performing Arts appeared to pay off. “I liked it very much. It was very good,” said Bashir Gohgari, vice president of relationship management at CitiGroup.
It was a family affair for Joydeep Bose, who brought his mother and children to Shen Yun Performing Arts’ Saturday evening performance at the Living Arts Centre. He was impressed with the quality of the performance particularly noting “the colour, the coordination, the dance.”
Brad Butt, Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Streetsville, had a message for Canadians after seeing Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Living Arts Centre: “If you ever get a chance to come and see this performance, please come—it’s a wonderful experience,” he said after the Jan. 18 evening performance.
