Yankees closer Rafael Soriano opted out of his contract Wednesday.

Oakland’s Coco Crisp singled home Derek Norris in the bottom of the 12th inning Sunday giving Oakland (51-44) a walkoff 5–4 win and a four-game series sweep of the Yankees (57-38) for the first time since 1972.
