The song identifying smartphone app, Shazam has just received $30 million in funding. 2014 was a great year for the the company Shazam Entertainment Ltd., growing from 70 million monthly users in 2013 to over 100 million by the end of 2014.

Musicians will be able to locate the area of their largest fan base and invite them to attend a concert.

Shares of online streaming music company Pandora Media Inc. fell by more than a quarter intraday on Wednesday.
