Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt has agreed to sell the franchise according to a joint statement released Tuesday night with Major League Baseball.

Jamie and Frank McCourt, who co-owned the Los Angeles Dodgers, finally reached a settlement in their bitter and costly divorce, opening the door for the sale of Dodger’s television rights.
