President Barack Obama and G8 leaders were upbeat about their summit meetings at Camp David saying they were encouraged by their talks on Iran, Syria and particularly, Europe and the eurozone economy.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has cancelled his visit to the U.S. for the Group of Eight (G8) industrial nations meeting outside Washington this month.
The White House said that it is shifting the May G-8 (Group of Eight) forum, consisting of leaders of the world’s eight largest economies, from Chicago to Camp David.
This May world leaders will convene in Chicago for two international summits, NATO and G-8, and big protests are expected to accompany the dual gatherings.
