The daughter of Duane “Dog” Chapman has attempted to quell speculation her celebrity dad was looking for love on Aug. 10.

Bonnie Chapman, 20, used social media to play down any suggestion her father, “Dog The Bounty Hunter” star Duane Chapman, 66, was looking for a new wife.

“[Expletive] on my father’s behalf that he cannot go on a business dinner without someone speculating he is on a date,” Bonnie said on Instagram on Aug. 11 before deleting the post according to the Daily Buzz.

Rumors began circulating about a new love interest after a photograph was released showing what appeared to be Chapman having a good time with a brunette woman at a Los Angeles restaurant.

In the photo taken by Splash News, Duane and his female companion appear to be very well-dressed, smiling, and close to each other.

This fueled speculation that Chapman could be back in the market for love since his wife, Beth, passed away after losing her two-year battle with cancer on June 26.

The 51-year-old was placed in an induced coma at the intensive care unit of Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

“It’s 5:32 a.m. in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,” Duane said on Twitter the day Beth died. “Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Bonnie shared a photo of her holding her mother’s hand in hospital.

“So thankful to call you my mother,” she said on Instagram. “Rest in peace, Mom. I love you so much.”

Bonnie revealed that her father and the woman in question were actually out as part of a group.

“If you really wanna know who she is, she’s a member of our crew and dad was out with eight other people at that dinner,” Bonnie said according to Fox News.
An unnamed source told People magazine the woman is a longstanding friend of the Chapman family and there were several “Dog’s Most Wanted” show staff members also in attendance.

Bonnie thanked everyone who extended support during her grieving process.

“Thank you for being there for us, we couldn’t ask for better people to be by our sides,” she said on Instagram. “Thank you for letting me being able to post about my grieving process.”

Bonnie asked fans to give the family some privacy so they can try to get on with their lives.

“Leave our family alone please,” she said, according to the Daily Buzz. “Leave my father alone, let him try to continue our business in peace.”

Duane and Beth Chapman were married for nearly 13 years and had two children, Bonnie and Garry, 18. They have a further 10 children from previous relationships, according to Fox News.
