Dustin Hoffman has negotiated with Universal Studios to play in the latest Meet the Fockers film series, according to reports on Wednesday.
Hoffman was originally not going to appear in the latest film Little Fockers because he and the film production company’s management could not come to a deal.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Hoffman and director Jay Roach came to terms independently and will reprise his role as Bernie Focker, the father of Ben Stiller’s character Gaylord Focker, also returning to star in the new series.
Hoffman, 73, will reportedly shoot scenes in September, Universal Studios insiders told Deadline Hollywood. The film will see a US release in December.
