Dance Moms season 4 finale is set for Tuesday night and fans are wondering whether the series will be canceled or renewed.
Lifetime hasn’t made an official announcement yet either way but it appears at this point that the show will likely be renewed.
Abby Lee Miller dropped a hint on her Instagram, posting a photo from Maddie Zieger’s performance in Los Angeles.
“Dance Moms’ creator Bryan and producer Scott were there at the live show to cheer @madisonsizegler1313 on!” Abby Lee said in the caption.
“Hope they realize I need a costume seamstress w/skills for #season5 #aldc.”
Season 5 will reportedly start filming at the Sheer Talent dance competition in Niagara Falls, New York on October 11, according to an advertisement for the competition.
But the Dance Moms Wikia page says that season 5 actually started filming on October 6, though it notes that an episode will be filmed at the Sheer Talent competition.
And on November 1, the Abby Lee Dance Company is set to attend a dance competition at the Hylton High School Performing Arts Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.
“Local dance schools will be entering their finest dancers and routines to compete with Abby’s elite team of dancers. Performers will share the stage with Abby’s dancers and get a chance to see the ’moms.' The event will be filmed for TV,” the promotion company said in a press release.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Chloe Lukasiak will not be part of season 5. Those rumors have not been confirmed.
As for a premiere date for season 5, one hasn’t been announced because the season isn’t even official yet.
But judging from the last three seasons, the show will premiere in January 2015. Seasons 3 and 4 both started on January 1, while season 2 started on January 10.
January 1 in 2015 is a Thursday, so the show may premiere on Tuesday, January 6.
