The Cruisin’ Brea Car Show rolls in on Fathers Day, featuring family-friendly attractions on Birch Street in Brea, California.
Streets filled with “Southern California’s hottest cars,” including classics, muscles, antiques, customs, and hot rods, according to the event organizer, Flying Deuces.
Six judges will select the top 35 cars to win “Best of Show,” and another 2 to receive the Mayor’s Award and a Downtown Owners Group Award.
According to Craig Hoelzel from Flying Deuces, this annual popular event—which has been happening for around 30 years—usually draws crowds of over 10,000. Organizers are expecting this show to be the largest one ever.
The car show will be in the shopping, dining, and entertainment district Brea Downtown.
Jennifer Wulfestieg, of Brea Downtown, told The Epoch Times, “Downtown Brea offers a safe and clean environment for families to gather and enjoy a top-quality car show. [It] is a great way for local businesses to be seen by visitors that aren’t from Brea.”
DJ Art Zipple will be keeping the atmosphere alive in the center of the event with a variety of music for guests to enjoy while they check out the cars.
Besides the car show, there will be several vendors selling local merchandise. Restaurants and other shops lining the streets of Brea Downtown are also available for guests to take a break in from the heat and enjoy.
Admission is free, but the show is sponsoring the Orange County Food Bank, so guests are also encouraged to bring at least one can of food to donate and support.
