During Hong Kong mega boy group’s MIRROR We Are Live Concert” on July 29, at the Hong Kong Coliseum 2022, A massive TV screen fell from height and plunged and hit a dancer’s head. The serious accident left two dancers injured. One is still in critical condition on July 30.

Aug 21: Mo’s dad, Pastor Lee Shing-lam, finally updated the public through Shirley Loo, who is an Honorary Fellow of the Family Development Foundation. Loo shared the 4th letter of prayer written by Pastor Lee while pleading with the public to keep Lee’s family in their prayers. Pastor Lee expressed gratitude and appreciation to everyone around the world for their compassion and support. Lee said, “After three weeks of intensive spinal cord treatment, Mo has finally shown some small progress. Right now, Mo still needs to follow the stages of treatment planned by the medical team.”
Aug 20: Secretary for Labor and Welfare, Chris Sun Yuk-han said on a TV program, “the Labor and Welfare Department has retrieved the dancers’ contracts but will not release details on the employment forms or dancers’ information.” The department is acting as an adviser for employment and protection responsibilities in the case.
Aug. 19: Artist Lam Ka-him held his first concert Summer Blue at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Lam is the first performer in the coliseum since the MIRROR Concert Incident. HK01 interviewed some fans. They believe that the concert organizer will be more careful this time so they are not too concerned for the stage safety. Lam’s stage design was also adapted per LCSD’s recent change of safety requirements.
Aug. 19: The Epoch Times interviewed a Hong Kong LED product expert on his thoughts on the incident, and what might have caused it.
Aug. 17: Commercial Radio removed Edan Lui and Lokman Yeung, two members of MIRROR from promotional materials for their Brand New Live Concert. The Radio announced no refunds would be given despite the absence of the two artists. it infuriated MIRROR fans.
Aug. 16: HKPF arranged for the concert dance director to the West Kowloon Police Headquarters for statement-making. MO’s conditions remain critical with stable vitals.
Aug. 15: MakerVille announced two options for concert ticket refund or exchange. Fans do not want refunds and stated that they will wait for as long as they need to. They also say they support MIRROR Rain or Shine.
Aug. 14: Mo Lee remains in ICU. His father Pastor Lee said treatments are ongoing as planned. He said it has been two weeks since the incident. Communication with the medical team has been established. He thanked the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the public for caring. But he will not announce Mo’s health conditions in public as his family needs more space and privacy.
Aug. 12: Commercial Radio announced MIRROR members will not be performing on Sept. 9. Concert with Anson Lo and Joyce Cheng, as well as CAllStar Basketball Game will be postponed.

early morning, Aug 10: So Ching criticized MakerVille on IG Story, saying ViuTV (MakerVille’s parent company) neglected the stage environment, performers’ salary, and safety.
Aug. 9: Hong Kong Police asked contractors and stage construction workers of the concert for statement-taking. MIRROR’s members Anson Lo and Edan Lui will also be assisting the investigation in the next few days.
2 a.m., Aug. 8: So Ching has left her boyfriend a message on IG Story, with a photo of her cat and the caption “Good night I miss you.”
Aug .7: Mo’s father announced that Mo has regained consciousness and can make simple communication. He thanked the medical team, reporters, and prayers from Hongkongers and everyone around the world.
Aug. 5: MIRROR withdrew from performing at Summer Sonic 2022 in Tokyo.
Aug. 5: MIRROR confirms they are dropping out from their upcoming performance at Summer Sonic 2022 in Tokyo on Aug. 20, 2022. This is the first time MIRROR attends the festival in Japan.
Aug 5: After being silent for a week, members of the band finally appeared on social media again. Leader Lokman posted on Instagram and said he will look after the boys. Other members echo their support for each other.
P.M., Aug. 5: Anson Lo, a close friend of dancer Mo Lee, takes to Insta Story to apologize to his fans for having worried them in the past week. He expresses that nothing is more important than the well-being of Mo, Fung, Zisac, and other dancers. He waits for a miracle every day. He also thanks his fans for still being around for MIRROR. He says he has been trying to let everything sink in.
Aug. 4: One of the MIRROR members, Anson Lo received criticism from some netizens, for continuing his performance after the TV fell. Other artists and performers came in defense of Lo saying Lo could not possibly have heard what happened as he had his earpieces on. They also stated that his back was against where the TV fell. Anson Lo and critically injured dancer Mo Lee have been friends for over 10 years.
Aug. 4: Dancer Zisac Law shared a post on Instagram, saying “I did not make it to the stage at the very last minute. But I have the memories to keep. I have never thought that 24 of us could be united as one. We, the 24 of us (dancers) and the 12 MIRROR members, will walk together across the stage again. We are One and All.” Law was injured during the rehearsal and had to withdraw from performing at the shows due to his injuries.
1130, Aug. 4: MIRROR’s manager and MakerVill Director have been to Kowloon West Regional Police Headquarters to give statements.
Lam Ho-yuen, also known as Fran9, concert executive director, was also assisting the police. Police and the Government’s lab unit have been investigating and collecting evidence at the Hong Kong Coliseum
P.M, Aug. 3: All 12 members of MIRROR and their manager Ms Fa were summoned to a meeting at the office, along with MakerVille’ Director Lo Ting-fai. This is the first time MIRROR was seen in public after the accident a week ago. Everyone was expressionless.
A.M, Aug. 3: Mr. and Mrs. Lee went to the hospital again to visit their son. When they left, they thanked the reporters.
Aug. 2: Pastor Lee released a prayer yesterday to thank everyone for praying for his son, Mo Lee. He also pleads with everyone to send their prayers to the other dancers and their families. He also shows gratitude to Mo‘s girlfriend, who is in the girl band Collar, for her extended and limitless support.

06:35, Jul 31: 23 dancers of MIRROR WE ARE LIVE CONCERT released a joint statementto clear rumors of posting anonymous malicious comments online and crowdfunding for the wounded.
07:34, Jul 30: Lee’s parents arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport from Toronto at about 715 a.m. local time. Pastor Lee Shing-Lam and Mrs. Lee were greeted by Cathay Pacific staff and local quarantine officers. They were then escorted to the vehicle. They are currently heading to ICU at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
07:20, Jul 29: When responding to the media, Queen Elizabeth Hospital representatives replied, “The Patient completed surgery last night. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. As laryngeal anaesthesia was required during his operation, Mo was temporarily classified as a critical condition, based on clinical classification. His vital is stable.”
23:00, Jul 29: Lee suffered from cerebral haemorrhage and C4 spinal cord injury, which causes him to be paralyzed from the neck down.
