The annual HEAD Hong Kong Junior Squash Open 2015 came to a climax on Sunday August 16 after five days of competition. The tournament with 5-divisions for boys and girls (U11, U13, U15, U17, U19) attracted competitors from the Asian region (Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan and China as well as Hong Kong’s top local players), plus UK, USA, Switzerland and Egypt.
The Finals of the Hong Kong Squash Championships 2015 for women and Men that took place at the Hong Kong Squash Centre on Saturday June 13 were won this year by sister and brother, Annie and Leo Au.
Surprisingly, Peter Hill did not get past the 2nd round in the Hong Kong National Championships currently ongoing at the Hong Kong Squash Centre. Hill met Chris Lo Cheuk Hin in round 2 and according to Hill he plays best when the courts are a little colder. On the evening of Tuesday June 9, Court 7 was just a bit too warm and Lo was just that bit too quick allowing him to win 11-3,11-3, 11-3.
