“Sometimes I think a lot of people get caught up in how important people treat them up there. There are a lot of people with interests there, and they treat you like you’re the most important person in the world. If you start believing them, you’re in trouble, because at some point, you’ll find out that you’re just a regular human being. Yes, you somehow made it up there to be a representative, but that doesn’t change who you are or where you came from,'” says Senator Kelly Seyarto.
Siyamak sat down with Senator Kelly Seyarto, who represents Riverside County communities of Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Lakeland Village, Alberhill, Menifee, Sage, and Idyllwild. He is a retired firefighter who began his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Inglewood Fire Department and retired at the rank of Battalion Chief from the Los Angeles County Fire Department in 2015.
