Former President Donald Trump on Sunday criticized Fox News for pushing the Democrat agenda, saying the network treats Democrat and Republican interviewees differently.

“Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda. Gets worse every single day,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”

It is unclear which interviews Trump was referring to. However, Trump’s latest criticism is another sign that the relationship between the network and the former president is not what it used to be, considering that Trump often appeared on the channel during his presidency.

This is not the first time Trump criticized Fox News. In July, the former president also took to Truth Social to criticize Fox & Friends over its reporting on his poll numbers.

Rove Targeted

In Sunday’s Truth Social post, Trump specifically called out Karl Rove, a Fox news contributor who once served as a senior adviser to former President George W. Bush.

“RINO Karl Rove is unwatchable, very negative, and on all the time—Has a big record of losing!” Trump wrote. RINO is an acronym for “Republican in Name Only.”

Rove made an appearance on Fox News last month, questioning why Trump took presidential documents to his Mar-a-Lago residence.

“Why he was holding on to these materials when he had no legal authority to do so under the Presidential Records Act is beyond me,” Rove said.
Rove’s statement came after U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the release of a heavily redacted affidavit, the document that convinced him to approve a search warrant for Trump’s home.
In March 2021, Trump also criticized Rove over his opinion article in the Wall Street Journal. In that article, Rove criticized Trump’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference as having “no forward-looking agenda” and was “simply a recitation of his greatest hits.”

“He’s a RINO of the highest order,” Trump wrote at that time. “Karl Rove’s voice on Fox is always negative for those who know how to win. He certainly hasn’t helped Fox in the ratings department, has he?”

“If the Republican Party is going to be successful, they’re going to have to stop dealing with the likes of Karl Rove and just let him float away,” Trump added.

Conservative CNN

Aside from criticizing Fox News, Trump said he would like to help CNN if the network decides to go “conservative.”

“If ‘low ratings’ CNN ever went Conservative, they would be an absolute gold mine, and I would help them to do so!” Trump wrote.

In July, Trump threatened to sue CNN for defamation over the network’s use of the words “Big Lie” and “lying” when reporting on his challenges to the 2020 presidential election.
