Dr Maria Pufulete is a senior research fellow at the Bristol Trials Centre, University of Bristol, and chief investigator of the NIHR HTA-funded INSPIRE study (16/140/07). She is interested in prehabilitation interventions administered before surgery to improve recovery and reduce the risk of complications after surgery.
