Recently, I had the honor of being awarded a Fulbright grant to Canada. Aside from the extreme cold weather, hearing French, and the unique pronunciations of various words, there were times I forgot I was in another country.

The other day, I finished my third motorcycle toy ride. No, I wasn’t riding a toy. A motorcycle toy ride is when a group of mostly respectable looking folks follow a patrol car for a few miles to donate toys for underprivileged children.

Awhile ago, I decided to tap into that familiar, yet almost abandoned, adventurous spirit of my younger years—I purchased, and learned how to ride a motorcycle. This further empowered me to seek out, and explore new challenges: social networking.
