One of the world’s heaviest flying birds, the Great Indian Bustard, now unfortunately stands under the Threatened Bird–2013 list released by the IUCN.

The world’s tallest flying bird, Sarus Crane (Grus antigone), is listed as a vulnerable species by the International Union for conservation of Nature.
