Bjorn Lomborg is president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, and former director of the Danish government’s Environmental Assessment Institute. He earned his M.A. in political science at the University of Aarhus and his Ph.D. in political science at the University of Copenhagen. He has published widely, including in The Wall Street Journal and The Daily Telegraph, and is the author of several books, including “False Alarm: How Climate Change Panic Costs Us Trillions, Hurts the Poor, and Fails to Fix the Planet” and most recently “Best Things First: The 12 Most Efficient Solutions for the World’s Poorest and Our Global SDG Promises.”
