Zsa Zsa Gabor is in critical condition after she returned to the hospital last week, her publicist told the Los Angeles Times on Monday.
According to the newspaper, Gabor had a priest give last rites to her on Sunday morning at UCLA Medical Center, where she has been staying for around a month.
Gabor, 93, was hospitalized from July 17 after breaking her hip and was released on Wednesday, but on Thursday said she had chest pains and was taken back to the hospital.
Doctors said they found and removed two clots in her chest. She was in stable condition for most of the weekend but her condition worsened on Sunday.
“She asked for the priest this morning,” her publicist John Blanchette told the Times. “The priest came in and gave last rites.”
If the Hungarian-born actress and socialite can stop having to eat through a tube, Blanchette said that would be the only hope for her.
