Lake Geneva police are seeking the public’s help for information regarding the whereabouts of 40-year-old Michalene Melges, and her three sons.
Chief Michael S. Rasmussen says Melges and her three sons, 14-year-old Hans, 12-year-old Kristian “Max,” and 10-year-old Maverik “Buddy” were last seen leaving their home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on May 10.
Merges rented a van in Lake Bluff, Ill., on May 9—the van was then returned to a rental company in Plano, Texas, on May 13.
In the statement, Police Chief Rasmussen said Melges and her three sons may be traveling with their two dogs, “King” a black in color English black lab and “Gigi” or “Geneva” a white in color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
The department said foul play is not suspected.
It appears Melges’ Twitter account (@Melges) and Facebook pages have been active, even past the dates she has been missing.
The account has posted as recently as Monday morning, although it’s not clear whether the posts were scheduled earlier, or if Melges herself looks after the accounts.
According to a Lake Geneva News report, Melges is a local real estate agent and appeared on the cover of Top Agent Magazine in 2014.
