Tina Fey revealed that Mad Men star Jon Hamm will reprise his role on 30 Rock in a live episode next season, according to media reports this week.
“Jon Hamm will be on the live show with us,” she told Entertainment Weekly on the red carpet outside the Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. Hamm will play his recurring role, Drew Baird.
Sideways star and two-time Academy Award-nominee Paul Giamatti is also slated to appear on the program, she added.
“Paul Giamatti is going to be on,” Fey said. “[He plays] a guy who works down in this cavernous editing room.”
New episodes of 30 Rock will air, starting Sept. 23 on NBC.
