There aren’t too many of us who would say no to a makeover. Even if our fashion game is strong, our beauty regime is well practiced, and our wardrobe is enviable, all of us get stuck in a rut from time to time.
We all know that the way we take care of ourselves has a direct impact on our psychological well-being, too. Our looks have a direct line to our sense of self-confidence, and even self-worth. How many times have you cried off a social engagement because you were having a bad hair day, had nothing to wear, or felt frumpy? It’s happened to all of us.
Hopefully, it won’t be happening to lucky makeover recipient Debbie any time soon. But more on Debbie’s makeover shortly (we do love a reveal!).
Have you heard of Christopher Hopkins? “The Makeover Guy?” If not, where have you been? Turn on your TV!
Chris employs a skilled crew of hairstylists and fashion experts, and people travel far and wide for “The Makeover Guy experience.” Tackling self-confidence issues from the outside in, Chris and his team have been changing lives via titanic transformations since the early 90s.
Now back to Debbie.
Debbie has always been reticent to put herself forward for a makeover. However, the 60-year-old mom is a huge Chris Hopkins fan and trusts him implicitly. An excellent prerequisite for a successful makeover! She eventually decided that the time was right and headed to downtown Minneapolis.
Chris’s team embraced Debbie’s trust and went to town on a radical new look, subtracting a good 20 years from Debbie’s age (figuratively speaking—Chris is good, but it’s not wizardry!).
After several hours in the makeover seat, Debbie received a stunning hair color upgrade, fashionable new clothes and jewelry, and flawless makeup.
Chris changed the shape of Debbie’s hair to a bouncier and more youthful style in order to lift her facial features. The style team then introduced Debbie to a new color palette, including pastels (never fear, Debbie, colors won’t bite!). They dressed her in a lower neckline than usual to show off her beautiful skin.
All hail the power of the makeover! Debbie left Chris’s studio renewed and revitalized. What do you think of her strong and sexy new look?
