A stunt double who was seriously injured in an accident involving an explosion on the set of “The Expendables 2” movie near the Bulgarian capital of Sofia last Thursday, is in stable condition, according to media reports.

Nu Image/Millennium Films released a statement reported on Deadline that Nuo Sun’s “condition has stabilized” and he has been transferred to a hospital in Munich for further treatment.

The name of another stunman who was killed in the explosion was released Tuesday. Kun Lieu died in an explosion while filming a scene on the Ognyanovo reservoir near the capital.

“Our deepest condolences go to the family of Kun Lieu,” the statement read.

The crew on site in Sofia will suspend production “and will resume shortly,” it said, adding that the “main unit production has not been interrupted and continues as scheduled.”

The film will be a sequel to last year’s box office hit “The Expendables” and will feature Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
