Sports reporter fired: Sports reporter Susannah Collins, who worked for CSN Chicago, was fired from the network after she made a mistake on-air.

“Despite the fact that they’ve had a tremendous amount of sex in the regular season,” she said in her broadcast during a televised report of the Chicago Blackhawks, reported the Chicago Tribune. She attempted to correct herself by saying “success” soon after.

A video of the incident was uploaded to several sharing sites and went viral.

“Due to circumstances unrelated to her on-air remarks Tuesday night, Susannah Collins and Comcast SportsNet Chicago have parted ways. We appreciate everything Susannah has contributed to our network over the past year and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” reads a statement from the network over her firing, according to the paper.

After the incident went viral, Collins tweeted: “Thanks for laughing along with me & my “tremendous” slip, guys. Who couldn’t use a good chuckle every now & then right?? #Whoops!”
