A restaurant owner lashed out consistently and without remorse at TripAdvisor users who left negative reviews on his establishment.
The owner, Waseem Ahmed, told the Metro that too many customers have held his establishment hostage via TripAdvisor.
He said that he should be allowed to fight his customers, saying that diners expect too much for their money.
His restaurant, Shimla Cottage, has been open for 15 years in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire in Scotland.
Ahmed said in one review: “Your lack of appreciation of the great job my waiting staff and experienced hardworking chefs perform day-in day-out is the ‘Bad customer Service’ for me.”
“Rather than go into the minutiae of your written excrement masquerading as a review, may I simply express my hope that you were able to set-aside the money we took off your bill for the inedible curry towards a personality transplant.”
In another review, Ahmed responded: “The only thing poor here was you. You were poor in manners. Poor in appreciating what your £27.00 got you, poor in knowledge of eating out, poor in your understanding of what a menu is and what quality actually is”
“You were unhappy as soon as you walked in.”
