A rain of spiders was recorded on Feb. 3 in Santo Antonio da Platina, Brazil, according to Brazilian news portal G1.
This video shows hundreds or perhaps thousands of spiders suspended from the sky, though it is unclear how they actually got there. They seem to be sharing a massive web that is difficult to see in the video.
Towards the end of the video it looks like the web is hanging above the treetops, and extends below the power lines, but it is hard to tell how it could be supported this way.
What could be the cause of this phenomenon?
