Prince Harry made a quick stop at Disney World on May 11—the first time since visiting the park 22 years ago with his late mother Princess Diana.

“He went into the park last night after a full day of watching great Invictus competition,” a spokesman for Kensington Palace said, according to ABC News.

Prince Harry visited Splash Mountain, one of the attractions he visited as a child with his mother and Prince William in 1993. He also went on a log flume ride and other Disney attractions.

Prince Harry, 31, told “Good Morning America” in March that the trip to Florida as an 8-year-old holds “very, very happy memories” for him.

“I went on ‘Space Mountain’ 14 times. I was like, ‘This is absolutely fantastic. This is the best thing ever,’” he recalled.

“There’s all sorts of places over the world where we were very lucky to have those moments with our mother; and very, very happy memories,” Prince Harry said of himself and Prince William.

Before going for rides at the theme park, Prince Harry joined Vice President Joe Biden at the Invictus Games wheelchair rugby final. The United States beat Denmark 28–19 to win the gold medal. The U.K. took home the bronze medal.

The Invictus Games, an idea from Prince Harry, is a sporting event for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women.
