Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has an overwhelming lead over Trump in Florida’s largest county, a new poll released on Oct. 19 shows.

Clinton has a 30-point lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump in the Miami-Dade County, 58 percent to 28 percent, a WLRN/Univision 23 poll shows. The survey was conducted in English and Spanish from Oct. 15-17, just days after Clinton campaigned with former Vice President Al Gore in Miami.

The recent poll shows Clinton could win with a historic margin of victory in Miami-Dade.

If the margin continues until Election Day, it would challenge President Ronald Reagan’s 1984 margin of victory.

Clinton’s support among voters in Miami-Dade has increased since the last local WLRN/Univision 23 poll was conducted in May, from 52 percent to 58 percent.

The poll also showed a significant decline in the number of undecided voters: from 23% in May to 7% in October.

Trump has less than half of support from Cuban-Americans in Miami-Dade, who tend to vote Republican. However, the group favors the businessman over Clinton 47 percent to 41 percent.

In Florida overall, Clinton leads over Trump, 48 percent to 44 percent, while Johnson gets 4 percent, and Stein 1 percent, a Quinnipiac poll conducted between Oct. 10-16 shows.

Miami, the most diverse county in Florida, will be a victory needed for a presidential candidate in order to win the state. However, there was a low turnout in primaries, which means voter mobilization will matter in this election.

When it comes to the senate race, Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy is in a tie with incumbent Republican Senator Marco Rubio among Miami-Dade voters, the WLRN/Univision 23 poll found.
