New download information for the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo have surfaced.

The Pokemon Company will be distributing the game code for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version via a variety of events world wide.

Trainers will need the code to download the demo, which will be available from October 15, from the Nintendo eShop.

Serebii.net has been keeping track of new demo code giveaway events, and there has been some new development in that area.

In Japan, the code will now be distributed in the Chao Magazine December 2014 issue (out from November 1), and also in the CoroCoro November 2014 issue (available from October 15).

Some countries will get the code before October 15, but it can only be redeemed on that date.

Russia has already distributed the code at IgroMir 2014 from October 1 to October 5.

The next country that slated to distribute the code early is South Africa at the rAge Expo from October 10 to October 12.

In the Netherlands and Portugal, the code will be handed out in the First Look & Autumn Tours and the IBERANIME OPO 2014 Festival respectively on October 11 and October 12.

In other news, the Pokemon Company will be holding a special Halloween distribution for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.

Pumpkaboo, a special Ghost/Grass-type Pokemon, will be available via a Nintendo Network distribution for the entire month of October.

The Super Size Pumpkaboo will come with the moves Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face, and will hold an opponent damaging item, Rocky Helmet.

Trading Super Size Pumpkaboo will cause it to evolve to Super Size Gourgeist, the Pokemon needed for trainers to compete in the Trick-or-Treat Friendly

To get the free Super Size Pumpkaboo, trainers will need to connect their Nintendo 3DS to the Internet, and select “Mystery Gift” on the main menu.

Trainers then need to select “Receive Gift,” and “Get via Internet,” before speaking to any delivery girl in any Pokemon Center to get the Pumpkaboo.
