Singer Pink is a 36-year-old woman. But when it comes to actor Johnny Depp—she becomes school girl giggly.
Pink, real name Alecia Moore, made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where she was confronted with her school girl crush on Johnny Depp—a crush so intense she finds it difficult facing the actor.
“Him and Michael Keaton,” she admitted to Jimmy Kimmel during the May 23rd broadcast. “I can’t do it. ‘Beetlejuice’ just gets me every time.”
Pink was faced with her worse fears when she ran into Depp at a record store. At the urging of her husband, Carey Hart, she was forced to say hello to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor.
“I didn’t want to meet him. My husband made me meet him, which was so dumb,” she described. “I was hiding behind records in a record store and I was like, ‘Don’t do this. I don’t want to meet him.”
She added, “I don’t think it went well—I don’t feel like I nailed it.”
The pair engaged in conversation about Depp’s new film, “Alice Through the Looking Glass”—that is, until the actor mistook ‘Alice’ for rock star, Alice Cooper.
“I went up to him and an I said, ‘Hey, just saw ’Alice‘, and I’m doing a song,’” Pink recounted. “And he’s like, ‘You saw Alice Cooper?’ And I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, I saw the movie ’Alice‘...anyway, you were great.’ And he goes, ‘Oh, I thought you were telling me you saw Alice Cooper.’
There was more embarrassment for Pink on the ABC late night show.
Johnny Depp returned to the stage as a visibly flustered Pink hand motion fanned herself.
“Can we get Michael Keaton out here?” Kimmel asked with a laugh.
“Go away. That was awful,” she said with frustration and a red face. “That sucks. I hate you. I hate you.”
“You just turned the color of your hair,” Kimmel said in reference to her pink tresses.
“This is the worst day ever,” she joked.
