A pig looks, well like a pig, regardless of where it is born - correct?
In one unusual case, however, the nose of a certain pig in Jilin, China looks far different from what we typically see.
The tiny piglet was born without a mouth, but it did however have an unusual snout. The creature had grey skin and its ears were abnormally large when compared to other piglets.
Instead of having a normal snout, the animal had a stubby trunk that curved down to where a mouth should be.
Anyone who took a quick glance at the piglet would likely assume it was a baby elephant.
According to the animal’s owner, Mr. Hong, the rare piglet was part of a litter of 8. The mother is a nearly 500 pound sow.
The elephant-like creature was the second one born. Hong claimed the piglet was lively after the birth but declined quickly. The animal died two hours after greeting the world.
